Catchment Action Plan

We are beginning a Catchment Action Plan to build a clearer understanding of the Arapārera catchment and how it is functioning. This work starts with establishing baseline monitoring and gathering information about our land, waterways, and biodiversity. By identifying what is already working well and where the environment may need more support, we can make informed decisions for long-term restoration and care.

This initiative, supported by Auckland Council, will begin early in the New Year of 2026 and will help guide future projects, priorities, and collaborative action across the catchment.
