The Arapārera Community Catchment Group is pleased to host a FREE Red Cross First Aid Course for members of our local community.
This full-day course provides practical first aid knowledge and skills that could make a real difference in an emergency situation.
Why First Aid Matters
Living in a rural and often isolated area means help is not always just around the corner. Whether it's a farming accident, chainsaw injury, vehicle accident, medical event, or an everyday incident at home, the ability to respond calmly and confidently before emergency services arrive can be incredibly important.
The skills you learn could one day help:
Yourself
A family member
A friend
A neighbour
Someone in our wider community
Building a More Resilient Community
First aid training is about more than responding to emergencies. It helps build confidence, preparedness, and resilience, strengthening our community and our ability to support one another when it matters most.
As we continue to build a stronger and more connected catchment, practical life skills such as first aid are an important part of that journey.
